An explicit structure-preserving filtered Lie splitting scheme for the original Zakharov system with low regularity error estimates in all dimensions
In this talk, we present error estimates for a fully discrete filtered Lie splitting scheme applied directly to the Zakharov system, whose solutions may exhibit very low regularity in arbitrary dimensions. Quite remarkably, we observe that the scheme exhibits an \emph{approximately structure-preserving} behavior even in the fully discrete setting. Our analysis relies on multilinear estimates developed within the framework of discrete Bourgain spaces. In particular, we prove that if the exact solution $(E,z,z_t)\in H^{s_c+r+1/2}\times H^{s_c+r}\times H^{s_c+r-1}$, then the numerical error measured in $H^{r+1/2}\times H^{r}\times H^{r-1}$ is of order $\mathcal{O}(\tau^{s_c/2}+N^{-s_c})$ for $s_c\in(0,2]$, where $r=\max(0, d/2-1)$ and $N$ denotes the number of spatial grid points. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first explicit error estimate for a numerical method designed directly for the original Zakharov system, without introducing auxiliary variables or reformulations. Such reformulations typically break the geometric structure of the system, whereas our approach approximately preserves it by working with the system in its original form. Finally, numerical experiments are provided to validate and illustrate our theoretical results.

Inner radius estimates and rigidity for a Finsler measure space with boundary
In this lecture, we give an estimate of the upper bound of the inner radius for a complete Finsler measure space $(M,F,d\mu)$ of weighted Ricci curvature bounded from below, in terms of the $d\mu$-mean curvature bound of the boundary. We also prove the rigidity result that when the boundary is compact, the upper bound is achieved if and only if $M$ is isometric to a forward Finsler geodesic ball of vanishing radical flag curvature.

镧系稀土高熵合金宽温域磁制冷性能研究
目前,液化氢等低温制冷行业面临着迫切的需求。然而,传统化合物形式磁热材料存在制冷温区窄和本征脆性等问题。本研究聚焦低温磁热领域,设计了镧系稀土磁热高熵固溶体。聚焦镧系稀土多主元协同效应对磁热性能的调控机制,实现了从低温至近室温的相变温度精准调控和“table-like”的宽温域制冷,相对制冷能力领先于现有报导的化合物和非晶。系统研究了元素比例和塑性变形通过晶格畸变对磁相变的热力学机制与磁热性能的影响,构建成分-结构-性能的关联模型。

Veni, Sensi, Vici: Touch, on the Robot Physical Intelligence
The sense of touch is arguably the most fundamental yet taken-for-granted sensing modality in human physical interactions. It enriches our perception, enabling dexterous manipulation and acting as a safety net. Likewise, robots have been increasingly required to work outside their historical cages and manipulate a growing range of objects. Achieving human-like dexterity in robots is important for their successful blending into our human environments. This requires robots to move beyond basic rigid-object grasping and perform more complex manipulation tasks. In this talk, we will discuss how robots can build an action hierarchy with the sense of touch to acquire and internalise various manipulation skills safely and dexterously, paving the way for physical intelligence for robots.
